Harry Kane (vs Middlesbrough)
Tottenham have scored 25 goals in 11 games at home this season and Harry Kane has 6 goals in his last 6 Gameweeks. He’s facing a Middlesbrough that is likely to have a makeshift defence given that Friend and Chambers are injured. For me, all signs point to giving Kane the armband if you own him.
Kevin De Bruyne (vs Swansea)
KDB has 2 goals and an assist in his last 2 games and now that Pep has gone back to playing a 4-1-4-1 formation that worked so well at the start of the season, I can only see this good form continuing. Facing a Swansea side that has conceded the most goals in the league (52 in 23 games), I expect City to score a few and De Bruyne to be at the heart of it.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (vs Leicester)
Leicester have leaked goals for fun over the last few games (conceding 7 goals in their last 3 games), Zlatan hasn’t scored in his last 2 games and will be looking to put that right this weekend. Scoring 10 goals and getting 4 in the last 13 Gameweeks, it’s hard to bet against him!
Romelu Lukaku (vs Bournemouth)
Much like Leicester, Bournemouth’s defence hasn’t been great either. They’ve conceded 10 goals in their last 4 games, including 3 against the incredible Hull. Lukaku has 12 goals to his name so far this season, with 3 of them coming in his last 6 games.
Roberto Firmino (vs Hull)
Firmino is very much an outside pick for me this week. With the holy trinity and Mane, Coutinho and Firmino back together, they are certainly capable of tearing a team like Hull apart. When the teams last met in the league, Liverpool won 5-1. But Hull have turned there form around lately and their defence has improved greatly and Liverpool’s form hasn’t been great as of late. Firmino does have 2 goals in his last 2 games and is back playing as a striker, he could score big this weekend.
